Positions:

GXC is growing fast and we we're looking to grow our team just as quickly! We're currently looking for the following people to join our team:

Development:

  • Software Engineer: Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP (LAMP), Perl
  • Flash Engineer: Flash, Flex, Actionscript
  • User Interface Engineer: Javascript/AJAX, CSS, UI Design, Web Graphics, XHTML
  • Systems Administrator: scalable & streamlined processes, multi-server architecture
  • QA/Testing Engineer: build automated test code, verify tickets
  • MySQL DBA: optimize, streamline, scale, and maintain the database-tier

Game Design:

  • Game Designer: Improve game balance, player dynamics, and user experience by suggesting practical and technically feasible changes to the current game design. Help build and design other team-based massively multiplayer gaming concepts.

Marketing:

  • Marketing Associate: Expand the reach of GXC to universities and beyond.
  • Business Development Associate: Forge strategic business partnerships and formulate growth strategies to build a successful Web 2.0 enterprise.

Locations:

GXC team members are welcome to work remotely. We currently have an office in New Haven, CT, but also operate out of New York City and San Francisco.
